The Mysterious Prince

Couldn't resist to snap some photos in a cinema in Hiroshima yesterday. Hope I'm not the only one among you who read and watch Harry Potter along with Quidditch Through the Ages, and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I had a chat with my siblings yesterday about this hot issue and was quite proud that my memories still serves me well :).

How's each tittle of the novel translated in your language? In Bahasa Indonesia the 6th novel is translated "Harry Potter dan Pangeran Berdarah Campuran". And in Japanese it is Harry Potter to Nazo no Purinzu (Harry Potter and the Mysterious Prince).

Did you already watch the movie? I read the book but don't remember much of it because it was so long ago. Nazo no Prince...could mean the Mysterious Prince???

Kaori, thanks. I think I trust you better than what I found from the internet. I'll edit my note :).
But why "mysterious"? Does Japanese have no word for "half-blood"?

I think they use 'mysterious' because it's easier to understand than 'half-blood.' We use the word 'half' but it doesn't really had the same impact as 'half-blood' in japanese. Maybe that's why :)

You are right, it might change the context of the whole tittle. Thanks. Hope weekend's going well :).

In Italian is quite literal: 'Harry Potter e il principe mezzosangue'.
