Kippu

March 9th, 2008 was my first time buying a "kippu" or train ticket. I went to Kabe which took 1,5 hour by train. I did a mistake, instead of buying a round-trip ticket (oofuku kippu), I bought two one-way tickets (katamichi kippu).
This ticket I bought today at Mihara station, it is about 45 minutes by train from Saijo station. The ticket is bigger than those we buy at Saijo. I guess it has something to do with the station. Mihara station serves both Shinkansen and local trains, while Saijo station serves local lines only.
Hiro San: Kippu wa ikura desuka? (How much does the ticket cost?)
Yuri San: Sanbyakku-go-ju en desu (650 Yen)

I can buy the tickets easily enough, but tend to get on the wrong train a lot :) What were you doing in Mihara? My high school was in Mihara-shi, smack in the middle of the mountain.

I am too ashamed of my many mistakes, mainly abroad, buying train tickets. Nice idea a photo of the tickets...

Sometimes things have been a little complicated when travelling abroad, but that's part of the excitement! :-)

Everybody made a mistake? Thought I was the only one :).

@ Kaori, we visited Mihara Elementary School, near Mihara Eki and there's a school (vocational) smack in the middle of the mountain. Was it yours?
