A glimpse of Saijo. Saijo is a small town in Higashi Hiroshima, Hiroshima Prefecture. I'm going to tell some random little things through photos about this town, who knows, you'll come here someday.
Gohan or rice from Saijo and other areas in Hiroshima. As we all know that rice is staple food in Japan, Japanese rice with its size and texture is different with other varieties that come from let say, South-East Asia. Makizushi ((巻き寿司) or rolled sushi with cucumber, best for barbeque :).
Henny it's me again - just popped to say that something is waiting for you on my Urban Stories blog - http://justjoo6.blogspot.com/ Please come (you can take sushi with you:)) and collect. Enjoy:)
Saijo is one of the towns that make up Higashi-Hiroshima City. In April 1973, Saijo was chosen as the home of the relocated Hiroshima University.
There is one thing very popular about Saijo, it is sake. Since July 1995, Saijo was made the home of the Brewery Laboratory of the National Tax. Each October there is also the Saijo Sake festival.
